Health Teeth for Puppies and Kittens

Veterinarian Dr. Garza offers comprehensive services that will help keep your pet in both good dental health and in a state of excellent overall wellness. Dr. Garza recommends that most pets have teeth cleanings here in our offices at least one time per year, normally at the time of their yearly checkup. Other pets may need more frequent teeth cleanings, generally at six month intervals. We at East El Paso Animal Hospital are equipped to perform digital dental x-rays so that we can be sure of any dental problems or issues prior to the dental procedure.

During our pet dental procedure, we will remove plaque and tartar buildup from your pet's teeth, and will do necessary extractions. Finally, we will polish and fluoride your pet's teeth and give your beloved pet the bright shining -- and clean -- grin that they deserve.

The staff at our East El Paso office recommends that pet parents supplement regular pet dental procedures here at East El Paso Animal Hospital with daily teeth brushing at home. While your pet might resist at first, if you make it a part of your daily routine and maybe even try specially flavored dog toothpaste, you can easily incorporate it into your routine. It can really make a big difference when you take your pet in for wellness exams - the extra care shows.
